Ladies and Gents,

Thanks to you all for once again making this years Ryder Cup the most successful to date re cash raised.

Wasdale Mountain rescue received a cheque of £800 from SL and a cheque of £1,200 from the Ryder Cup account.  The same  amount for the PKD (Polysistic Kidney Disease ) .  So each charity received £2,000.  This leaves a float of over £300 in the account for next year.

Congratulations to Engineering for retaining the Cup and well done to Jim Bell for his unique handicapping
system that helps him retain the cup.  Dates for next years Texas scramble are17th of April and  for the Ryder Cup the 11th of September 2015.

Next year's nominated charities are The National Autistic Society Furness Branch and Hospice at Home.

On Sunday 7th September, almost fifty E.S.K.K dojo members attended our third grading of the year to challenge their next rank.  The day was split up into four sections: White to red belts, red to yellow belts, yellow belts to orange belts and lastly, orange belts to blue belts.

As usual, everyone had been working hard for months previous and it was such a pleasure to see members giving it 100% in front of the panel.

Huge congratulations to everyone and especially to the four (yes, four) first class achievers: Aileen Grice, Warren Grice, Garet Mair and Dominic Mills - an excellent display of skill and knowledge.
