Thursday evening (28th February 2013) saw the Carnegie theatre in Workington open its doors to a brand new E.S.K.K karate class.

Closed dojo members Tom Duggan and Dave Parker supported Sensei Chris Denwood in introducing a whole new class of youngsters and parents to the world of traditional karate.

Chris said it was a top evening and he hadn't expected such an excellent response from the advertisements!  He was delighted to meet and start to train a very well behaved and polite bunch of kids along with three participating parents who showed the real promise of natural ability!

This was the first of what will now be a regular Thursday evening class covering seniors, terns, juniors and family formats for both beginners and more advanced grades. On Friday 29th March, our group will be celebrating our 9th Anniversary together at The Moresby Social Club from 7.30pm onwards. There'll be food, drink, live music, disco, raffles, a few surprises and as usual, lots of E.S.K.K fun! All senior/teen members from both our martial arts and fitness classes are invited, plus parents of our junior members and club supporters too. Tickets are priced at £15 each.

This is always a fantastic evening, a great chance to catch up with friends and to support the group. We pride ourselves with having a great camaraderie and we'd love to see you there!
