​E.S.K.K Martial Arts & Fitness is a renowned martial arts and fitness centre based in West Cumbria, offering a variety of classes for families across the region.

Established in 2004: E.S.K.K has been providing inspiring classes to members of the whole family in locations across West Cumbria for nearly two decades.

Traditional Lineage: Joining their karate dojo connects you to a traditional lineage that began on Okinawa, Japan, and stretches back many generations. It is a time-proven system for self-protection and self-development that stimulates body, mind, and spirit together.

Variety of Classes: They offer both martial arts and fitness classes tailored to suit almost all individual goals. These classes are held in various locations including Whitehaven, Workington, Cockermouth, Egremont, Cleator Moor, Arlecdon, Moor Row, and surrounding areas.

First-Class Instructors: Their instructor team is passionate and fully qualified, with many years of knowledge and experience. They are professionally insured, hold approved first aid and safeguarding certifications, and undergo regular enhanced DBS clearance checks.

Safeguarding: E.S.K.K holds the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts and the BMABA Club Colours Award, which is the UK Martial Arts’ highest level of accreditation in terms of vetting and regulation. This ensures a comprehensive set of vetting checks are undertaken at all levels within the school.

Free Taster Classes: They offer free taster classes with no obligation to continue, allowing potential members to experience their classes first-hand.
