On Saturday 2nd August 2014, a small group of E.S.K.K dojo members conducted a karate demonstration as part of a charity family fun day held at the Miners Club in Whitehaven. The event was in aid of The Little Princess Trust, who provide real-hair wigs free of charge to children suffering hair loss. The wet weather meant that we had to squeeze on to a small dance floor inside the club, but with a little adaptation...we were good to go! We were proud to have been part of such a worthy charity and hope that the day was a complete success for all the organisers. Thanks to everyone for watching the demo and for all the positive comments we had after the show. Of course, a huge thank you to everyone who took part in the demo, from the veterans to the first-timers - you all performed exceptionally well and it was a proud moment to see you all together! Here's a short video I quickly put together (Thanks to iMovie) from some footage taken on my mobile phone - please enjoy :-) Please be patient - this video may take a little while to load depending on your internet speed
